Water security has now become the top most priority of various industries like Textile, Agriculture, and Beverages etc. As most of the mentioned industries are water based so they require water in large amount. It was feared that if water usage continues at the same pace then the day was not far when the company will fight for their existence.

To cope up with the above problem  the  various industrial giants like PepsiCo(beverage),Levi Strauss and Company(textile) have come up with the various innovative solutions which would enhance the water usage capability , proper utilization and also  saving of water.

Levi Strauss and Company (textile) has introduced a brand featuring stone-washed denim smoothed with rocks but no water. They have also come up with a theory to wash jeans rarely and putting them into the freezer which kills germs that cause smell.

There is another example of PepsiCo (beverages),

1. They have decided to sanitize the plastic bottle with purified air rather than water.

2. Frito-Lay brand normally called as LAYS, have identified the drought resistant potato and also guiding farmers with soil -monitoring technique so that they should only water the field whenever it is necessary.

These are some of the innovative methods which the company has applied to conserve water in some or the other way.

The study shows that farmers who adopted the modern technologies reduce water and pesticide usage by around 30% and they have generated a profit of 15% as compared to the people who are not using modern technologies.

So as our industries are becoming aware about the precious resource, we the people should also be aware as to how to save our precious resource .Remember that without water there is no life and the water that we save goes to those people who don’t have access to clean and drinking water so keep those people in mind and take action now to save OUR future.
